TOM SANDERS (Magic For Everyone; Science In Your Life) was born and grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He attended Purdue University studying Electrical Engineering (EE) and received MS and PhD degrees specializing in microelectronics (silicon chips).  After graduation, Tom accepted a position at Harris Semiconductor in Melbourne, FL, where he worked for over 20 years and rose to the level of Vice President of R&D.  He then left Harris to become a Professor and Department Head of EE at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT).  After 15 years at FIT, Tom left to be the President and CEO of a small business in Melbourne (AET, Inc.) which developed special silicon chips for military and other applications.  After 12 years, he fully retired.  Tom and his wife, Judy, of 57 years live in Indialantic and have three children and four grandchildren.  In the last 20 years, Tom and Judy have traveled the world, visiting over 50 countries.  Besides teaching at the Shepherd's Center, Tom enjoys playing golf and bridge and volunteering with Daily Bread and with his church.
