MIKE VOGT (Current Events) is from the Greater St Louis area and was an exceptional football player there.  He had multiple opportunities to go on to play for major college football programs but he wanted to insure himself of ample playing time so he opted for a full scholarship at Northern Montana College in Havre, Montana. On the field his position was defensive back.  Mike always knew he wanted to coach football and that's what he did at both the college and high school levels.  Since he  began teaching (history, social studies, etc.) in 1975, he coached as well. Job offers led him to Florida where he has resided for over forty years.  He has coached at Lee County, Oceola, Melbourne, Satellite Beach, and Cocoa high schools.  Mike had his best success at Cocoa High School where his team won three back-to-back-to-back state championships.  He is very prideful of the wonderful players from that team.  Let him tell you about his three Cocoa players who are currently playing in the NFL. Mike and his wife, June, reside in Satellite Beach.
