JIM & MARY ANN LOAFMAN (Yoga Stretch; Chair Yoga) have known each other since they were 16 and 14 years old, respectively; they started going together and have never stopped!  Jim was born is Trumann, Arkansas; he earned a B.S. degree in Medical Engineering from Rolla School of Engineering in Rolla, Missouri. Mary hails from St. Louis, Missouri, and she obtained a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Rollins College. They both worked in the space industry. Coupled with the declining space-related work in Huntsville, Alabama, and the warmer weather in central Florida, they relocated to this area where Jim worked for Harris and Mary Ann was employed at the Cape for Aerospace Corp.  They are both passionate watercolor artists and have been doing that for the past six years.  Jim and Mary Ann travel and paint what they see.  Some interesting spots have been Iquazu Falls in Argentina, Istanbul, Machu Picchu, and Egypt. They once backpacked to India for a month when they were 50 years old, and a second time with Benedictine Monk Father Lawrence Freeman, spending several weeks visiting many holy spots and then meeting for several days with The Dali Lama for silent prayer under the Bo Tree in Bodhgaya. Since retirement, and for the past thirteen years they volunteer as missionaries to Haiti - traveling every three months under the Hearts Out to Haiti Mission program sponsored by Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Mary Ann and Jim have been married for 59 years and have four sons.
